    NYC, NYS, and Federal Governments

BCSR is an experienced partner developing surveys and evaluations for New York City, New York State, and the Federal Government. Clients range from the New York Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), and the Department of Buildings (DOB) to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). BCSR is a registered contractor of the City.

    Capabilities and Services

BCSR uses its fully range of technical and administrative capabilities to fulfill contracts. BCSR deploys its CATI and web capabilities for projects. Surveys that require face-to-face interviewing and use of tablet data collection can also be designed. The high-level technical skills of Baruch faculty are utilized  to design rigorous evaluation designs, from formative to outcome and impact evaluations. Quantitative capabilities are enhanced by qualitative data collection including in-depth interviews with key informants and knowledge leaders and focus group discussions (both virtual and in-person). BCSR projects are subject to institutional review, ensuring that the highest quality ethical standards are met.
