    Student Employment Opportunities at Marxe

    Marxe Student Employment

Are you interested in building research and project management skills and forging relationships with Marxe faculty and staff while helping to finance your education?

The Marxe School offers its matriculated students the opportunity to apply for part-time positions offered by Marxe staff and faculty. All incoming and continuing enrolled students are eligible for these positions. Continuing students must be in good standing, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

    Marxe Assistantship

Student employment positions take two forms. Some students work with Marxe professors on research related tasks. They may gather and analyze data, review literature, create presentations, and conduct other assigned tasks. Other students support the operations of the Marxe School, working with Program Directors, Marxe Committees, and Academic Centers. Some positions are short term, and some last for the full academic year with a short break in January. All positions are paid by the hour.

Please review the posted opportunities, and feel free to apply for up to five positions. Each posted position will indicate the type of work involved, experience and skills desired, if any, the length of the position, and the hourly pay.

They engage with prospective students by phone or email. Ambassadors are current graduate students (full-time or part-time) within the EMPA, MPA, MIA, or MSEd-HEA program. Ambassadors must have completed at least one full semester in a Marxe program.
