Optional Focus in Public Affairs for Zicklin Students
Students in the Zicklin School of Business BBA degree program may now complete the Optional Focus in Public Affairs
Zicklin students who wish to register for the Optional Focus in Public Affairs must meet with a Marxe undergraduate advisor to complete a Optional Focus in Public Affairs Declaration Form [PDF] for BBA Students. Once the Optional Focus form is approved by Marxe Advisement Office, students’ DegreeWorks audits will be updated to reflect the required courses.

Baruch does not offer a dual degree program, so students will not graduate with both the BBA and BS degrees. The Optional Focus in Public Affairs will appear on students’ final transcripts after completion of all relevant courses has been confirmed by members of the Graduation Audit Unit in the Registrar’s Office.

*Note:
- BBA students who complete the Optional Focus in Public Affairs are waived from courses 2-4 of the College Option degree requirement (the liberal arts minor).
- Students who do not complete the Optional Focus in Public Affairs and decide to graduate without it are subject to minor requirements of the BBA degree.
- BBA students who complete the Optional Focus in Public Affairs are required to complete a minimum of 43.5 Liberal Arts credits.
- Students who do not complete the Optional Focus and decide to graduate without the Optional Focus are subject to liberal arts requirements of the BBA degree. Please note that only the following PAF courses are liberal arts courses:
