    Math Refresher Workshop

Incoming Marxe students are invited to attend a math refresher workshop presented by Quant Support (the Quantitative Student Support Department). For some students, the workshop may be linked to their admission. It is designed to help students identify fundamental mathematical areas they may need to review in order to be prepared for math/quant-based coursework at Marxe and beyond. Throughout the semester, Quant Support also offers graduate tutoring services, consultations, additional workshops, and more.

    The workshop has two variations:

1 — An asynchronous, fully online version where students independently click through interactive exercises and get instructor feedback at a later time.

2 — A live (i.e. “synchronous”) version where students are guided through fundamental math concepts with an instructor on Zoom.
